Arrive at Istanbul. All of the ladies will have fresh flowers and the gentlemen will have souvenir as a present by YCL Tours & Incentives and transfer to hotel and check-in. During the key distribution “a welcome cocktail” will be served. Dinner and overnight will be at hotel.
After breakfast at hotel, full day tour of Istanbul featuring Hippodrome where chariot races used to take place, Sultan Ahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque), which is famous with its delicate blue ceramic tiles and its unique six minarets, St. Sophia Museum an ancient basilica which is one of the architectural marvels of all time with its immense dome rising 55m above the ground and 31m in a diameter, Topkapi Palace (Treasury and Harem Sections are not included !) from which The Ottoman Empire was governed for four centuries, Covered Bazaar with more than 4000 shops. Dinner and overnight will be at hotel.
Breakfast at hotel and visit to the famous Egyptian Spice Market Bazaar embark on a Cruise along the Bosporus. Disembark at Sariyer and have lunch then drive to the Asian Part of Istanbul. Visit to Yeditepe Hill for a panoramic view of the city. Also visit to Beylerbeyi Palace the summer resident of the Ottoman Sultans. Dinner and overnight will be at hotel.
After breakfast drive to Gallipoli Peninsula, before crossing the Dardanelles Straits by ferry to Canakkale. Visit to Homer’s Troy where we see the ruins of nine cities built on top of each other. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast and departure to Izmir. Continue to Pergamon, once a great center of culture. Visit of Acropolis and the Asclepion, an ancient medical center located at the foot of Pergamon, specializing in the treatment of barefoot walking and music therapy before arrive at Izmir. Dinner will be served at hotel.
After breakfast at hotel drive to Ephesus, one of the highlights of any visit to Turkey. Among the ruins are Basilica of St. John and House of Virgin Mary. Continue to Kusadasi for dinner and overnight.
Breakfast and visit the Temple of Aphrodite and the museum of amazing Aphrodisias before continuing to Roman Hierapolis, where we visit the ruins enroute to Pamukkale, a name meaning “Cotton Castle” an apt description owing to its fantastic white limestone terraces, an incredible natural phenomenon. Dinner will be served at hotel.
After breakfast we pass pine forests and cross the Taurus Mountains to Myra, which is full of surprises. We visit them all remarkable rock cut tombs, finally preserved Roman Theatre, and the Church of St. Nicholas the original “Santa Claus”. Then drive beside the blue waters of Mediterranean brings us to Antalya. Dinner will be served at hotel.
Breakfast and visit the extensive ruins of the Hellenistic / Roman city of Perge including the Great Theatre, the Stadium and the gate powers leading into a street where chariot ruts can still be seen. Then visit to Aspendos to see the best preserved Roman Theatre in the world. Dinner will be served at hotel.
Early breakfast and drive to Konya, Turkey’s most religious city. Konya was the home of the whirling Dervish sect. Visit the Mevlana Museum, with its beautiful fluted turquoise dome, see the Karatay Medrese and Ince Minareli Medrese then continue to Cappadocia to visit the Caravanserai of Sultanhanı. Dinner will be served at hotel.
After breakfast full day excursion tour to Göreme. In this unique region of volcanic landscapes and rock carved churches, we will go to Göreme to visit Underground city of Kaymakli or Ozkonak, the tall conical cone of Uchisar and the Open Air Museum. Today shopping will be done at one of the biggest carpet weaving school of the area. Dinner will be served at hotel.
Breakfast and departure to Ankara. Lunch and visit to the Mausoleum of Atatürk, founder of the
Turkish Republic and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations. Late afternoon flight to Istanbul. Dinner and overnight will be at hotel in Istanbul.
After breakfast at hotel transfer to airport for onward flight.
